Recently purchased several items from a Caring Transitions of Chapel Hill auction. The items were all exactly as described, shipped quickly and professionally, and came with authentication papers. Could not be more thrilled with my finds and love that this organization is assisting people in Chapel Hill! Excellent work!

Thief. Paid for item won in online auction & never received item. Then was given negative attitude when I contacted to inquire about items already paid for two weeks prior. As a result of me asking g apparently at wrong time “ not business hours” she suspended my account & HAS NOT REFUNDED THE MONEY I PAID. LIED about sending refund to account not used on the app & I have not received my refund & it’s been over a month now since initial business transaction was upheld on my part & broken by ct bids native ward. Horrible business ettiquette & ethics

Fil and his team made the process of cleaning out our family home seamless. They really live up to their name - Caring! My brother inherited the house we all grew up in, and while it was well maintained, it had 65 years of living and accumulating in it. As the Personal Representative of my brother's estate, the thought of figuring out how to empty it for sale was overwhelming. Fil made it easy, because he let the family go through and take whatever we wanted to and then did EVERYTHING else and for much less than I had expected. He has so many resources, and even arranged for a very old scrap metal vehicle to be removed. I've already referred him to a several clients (I'm a Realtor).

I can highly recommend Caring Transitions. Justin and his team are professional, very efficient, thoughtful and responsive. Their competence made my move stress free. When they left with everything placed and unpacked, it felt like I had been in my new home for weeks instead of hours. I am very pleased with Caring Transitions.

We used Western Caring Transitions for my Mother's estate sale, December, 2024. We were very disappointed with the company. Tia said the sale would look like a "Dillards" and she and her employees really talked like they knew what they were doing. To me and to others, it looked like a usual estate sale. My Mother's house was on a highway and they only put up a small sign in her front lawn. Unfortunate for us, there was very little foot traffic for the 2 day sale.(I was there on the 2nd day.) After the sale, we told them that we thought we would just do a garage sale and not put the items online. Tia and her staff told us that an online would do well. It didn't. The opening bid was $1.00. They charged $10.00 per picture (lot)of the items online. Most of the items sold lower than the $10.00 per picture. You do the math. They said they did over 300 lots but I counted only 168. Online, it showed "minimal bid" and then it showed "current bid". The current bid was lower than the minimal bid. I asked about how that could be, but didn't receive an answer. Some items were not in the sale or the online auction. We weren't told why. To be honest, we really didn't understand that the bid would be so low as a $1.00 until after we signed the contract. We tried to communicate with Tia but she didn't return calls or texts. They did clean up the house after the sale, which they promised to do. Tia said they were there to take the stress off of us. It was the opposite for us. It was so stressful for me, I had to go to the doctor. I could go on and on but bottom line, I would not recommend them.

I feel blessed to have found Deena and her team to help with a full cleanout of my parents' home. Not living locally, it was important that I find someone who I could trust unequivocally in the home and who could help with random issues as they arose. Deena was always there -- whether it was for a car inspection or finding cleaners for a deep clean. I was lucky to meet her crew, a team of dedicated and kind people who took care and interest with my parents' items -- knowing they held emotional if not monetary value. If I ever needed to do another cleanout, I'd go straight to Deena.

Caring Transitions was wonderful. Natalie's communication with us was always prompt. Returned every call promptly. They cleaned all the "stuff" from our house, left the house in great shape. Would recommend Caring Transitions to anyone moving and need to get rid of excess household or garage furnishings.

Caring Transitions was very helpful and made my move much easier. The whole team including Sherry Newey, Amie Cecil and everyone else went the extra mile to do everything that was required. I cannot say enough how kind, considerate and helpful everyone was. I don't know how I would have gotten rid of all the clutter and extra furniture, etc. without their help
